Best for bikes: Busiest for bikes on Sundays, but Saturday is busy too, as is any race day. Look out for bike specific events.
The super sausage cafe is popular with petrol heads, being located on a few miles from Silverstone race circuit.
I arrived on a drizzly spring Saturday morning at 11.15 and the car park was already half full of bikes and a few sports cars on a ride out.
Outside the cafe there is ample parking and there's also plenty of outside seating too for when the weather is better. For bikes a helmet park is also provided.
The cafe itself is quite small inside with seating for about 35-40 people. It's family friendly, (it's not a transport cafe, but more a destination, a place for motor enthusiasts to ride/drive out to). It's bright, clean, and has lots of character and there's lots of racing memorabilia on the walls from all types of Motor sport.
The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic about the place and happy to promote it. The cafe is busy, but well organised and the food arrives nice and quickly. The ample fry-up is tasty and not at all greasy.
There are a range of fry ups to try to suite every appetite and there's even a challenge meal if you are up for it.
