Spain Motorcycle Tour - Day 14 - Albarracin to Soria
Updated: Mar 23, 2019

From: Albarracin Via: Aragon To: Soria Distance: 172 miles Tuesday, 8th September
Today is a hangover day, hence the small amount of notes and photos. Riding a noisy motorcycle and cornering with a hangover is hard work!
Worse, our hotel doesn't do breakfast so we leave a little earlier than we wanted too, even after sleeping in late.
After 30 minutes on the road we find a local bar and settle in for some full fat coca-cola and some boqueria Jamon y queso (Cheese and ham sandwiches...the full extent of our Spanish). We don't feel too bad about the hangover as all the local tradesmen arrive for breakfast of sandwiches and a glass of wine.
Today has everything, starting with the Parque Natural del Alto Tajo including rivers, lakes, forests, mountains, plains, agriculture fields, vineyards, twists, fast flowing bends, long straight, farm tracks and the castle at Aragon.
The two sat navs don't agree on routes, so post hangover, we decide at each point to follow whichever takes the longer route. It turns our to be a great day on the bikes.
We arrive at our super modern Parador in Soria high up on a hillside via five very steep and tight hairpins - the most technical road of the trip!
